"Office Space" might be a comedy, but it's also a surprisingly disturbing movie. Underneath its breezy, easygoing demeanor, this is a movie about the corrosive alienation of modern office life. What's most amazing in the scenes at the office itself are how few people you see. That is because everyone is inside their own cubicle, wrapped in their own worlds. In fact, when, at one point, a character knocks out one wall of his cubicle to get a view, we sense that this is really kind of a scream for help. As anyone who has worked inside an office can tell you, the modern office might be good for some laughs, but it is a profoundly uncomfortable, disturbing (and disturbed) place. Give "Office Space" credit for exposing this, while making us laugh at the same time.

I swear anyone who has ever worked in an office or call center MUST watch this movie because everyone can relate to what the cast goes through and put a little laughter into our horrible work life!

Like one of the previous reviewers said, this is one I would actually buy, and probably will. I just rented it and I laughed so much! One of my coworkers said she had seen this in the theater while at her previous job--in the middle of a work day, even--and the place was packed w/ people playing hooky! You just have to see it because talking about it doesn't do it justice. I liked the use of rap music, and the ''beat down'' scene was great. In any case, rent it, buy it or borrow it, this is a good hour and a half to spend.

In a time when Corporate America is going through some trying times, Office Space couldn't have picked a better time for its release. Whether he knows it or not, Mike Judge has portrayed in his movie the true act of Corporate downsizing, restructure, and management. Everyone from the bottom to the top in the working force of America will be able to relate to this movie either in one of the characters or occurrences to the business portrayed in Office Space. This is a must see movie for everyone out there working to make their ends meet.

Office Space starring Ron Livingston and Jennifer Aniston is definitely a great stress reliever. By exploring the lives of three software engineers and their boss, it does a great job of showing the immorality in the workplace. It shows how the employees who work hard get nothing, and the employees who do nothing get promoted. Office Space does an extraordinary job of making fun of the working class. You¿ll even find yourself laughing at the simple things, like ¿the case of the Mondays¿. After watching this movie, you¿ll feel both relieved and elated about your own work experience, and maybe take with you a few pointers on how to deal along the way.

Office Space is a movie that is both hilarious, yet seriously similar to the lives of the working class. This movie staring Ron Livingston and Jennifer Aniston truly show the struggles of the working class. You'll find yourself laughing even at the simpliest things such as the 'case of the Mondays'. Be prepared to find situations similar to your own working environment. The good thing is this movie will make you feel a whole lot better about your own situation. Office Space is one movie that will not disappoint.

Talk about a day in the life, ha! Reminded me of a company I once had the pleasure of working with. The general feelings within our org were right on target with these. I loved it! If you have an office job, this is a must see.

This movie provides a unique humor that viewers have been deprived of for too long. The humorous interactions between the employers and the employee won't allow you to look at your boss the same. This movie also makes you think about quitting your boring deskjob to take up fishing for the rest of your life. It made me feel great seeing someone that gave up all that seemed important and is now the happiest man on earth.

This movie is a riot. On the other hand it is also scary because it such an accurate portrayal of life as an office drone. Been there, done that! Watching this was like reliviing most of my time spent in the cublicle world. As far as dark comedies this has to rank as one of my favorites.

I recommend this movie to anyone, regardless if you have ever worked in an office..this movie just doesn't quit! It keeps you laughing until the very end. If you know someone who seemingly has no sense of humor, pop his baby in and I swear they will be on the floor within 20 minutes!

So so true!! It's a celebration AGAINST the corporate meatheads who no longer work and a glorious tribute to wanting to be free of the ''rat race''! I really recommend this to anyone who works in a cubicle... because I do!! Rock n Roll, baby!!!

this movie is the best, especially michael bolton, when he is fighting with the fax machine; 'what is a pc load letter?'

Personally, I can't relate to this movie although there were some really funny parts to it. I've never worked in an office, but I almost did once. It looked like the epitimy of ''squishland''. The Stapler was the Protagonist in this little movie adventure. I do understand that it holds more than one concrete example of Corporate America and what it stands for:1. It holds only most things together and also creates an ''attachment'' of loyal trust. Oh but I mustn't forget that bright orange radiates a friendly feeling! Buy one today!!! :o)

This is one of the best films to be made in a long time. It's funny, but not at the expense of lossing it's satiric intelligence. All I can say is, ''That't be greeeeaaaatt!''

This movie is hilariously funny. It got me just reeling with laughter. I love this movie. You'll be watching this movie over and over because it's that good. And also, for the girls', Livingston is oh! so sexy.
