Fifteen years after her daughter was abducted from a playground and brutally murdered, devastated mother Asako (Kyoko Koizumi) offers the four girls who witnessed the abduction but failed to identify the suspect the opportunity to choose their punishment for failing to see that justice was served. Meanwhile, the trauma of that fateful day has cast an ominous shadow over the lives of those now-grown girls.
