Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is the head of a specialized military rescue team in this science fiction action feature. He is sent to South America where he meets with his CIA friend Dillon (Carl Weathers), and the two combine forces to rescue some stranded American soldiers. The hunters become the hunted when an outer-space alien killer known as the Predator begins to kill the soldiers. Four special-effects artists were nominated for an Academy Award for their work in this feature.
