In this low-budget, routine horror-comedy, Edgar Allen (Rufus Butler Seder), aspiring to move along in the literary footsteps of another, 19th-century Edgar Allen, has written a murder mystery about a serial killer. When Edgar takes on a janitorial position at a 20th-century equivalent of the House of Usher - "Welcome Apartments," he cannot help but notice the oddball residents there.
