Overview

After Richard (Johnny Depp), a well-presented and well-respected college professor discovers he has terminal cancer, he launches himself back into life with a new penchant for rulebreaking, alcohol and drugs. His wife Veronica (Rosemarie DeWitt) and Harry (Ron Livingston), the college chancellor, are horrified by his new character and rebellions, though his students love his law-defying ways.
