Mark Hogancamp (Steve Carell) gets assaulted by a group of Nazi thugs which left him extremely physically and emotionally damaged. In order to work through his trauma, he finds comfort and support from both his physical therapy and his natural inclination to art and expression. He builds a miniature world and creates stories of heroism which then gives him the courage and confidence to face his attackers and bring them to justice. Directed by Robert Zemeckis.
