One evening, high up in the sky, a snowflake is formed. Thrilled at first, he does not want to fall. Far below in the city, a girl named Noelle wonders if it will snow soon. She longs to have a Christmas tree like the one in the store window, but the branch she finds will have to do. Both the snowflake and the girl end up with a special holiday surprise.
