I love all her characters. This was a very special book to all of her followers. We have reread and reread all her books. They have become like family to us. Please come and join us. All will fall in love.

Least favorite of the series. I thought Alex was one demensional and a boring character. I also thought Duncan deserved someone closer in age and not someone so young. The parts about John and Shannon were great. The sub-plot was confusing and never fully explained. New series will cover that I guess.

Duncan has given up on love... and who could blame him... No one deserves what he had handed to him.... So he is content to watch "his guys" find happiness.. and be Uncle Duncan to the children... But this Band of Brothers is having none of that.. They want him to find they happiness they have.. So they plan a little surprise... This series is beyond words... You can't just read one of the books by J M Madden... and in fact most of us can't read the books just once. If you are unfamiliar with this author I envy you the surprise you are in for. You will not be disappointed.

Every time I read one of J.M.'s books in this series I remember why I love her writing. She gives us a wonderful story while dealing with the reality of what happened to our wounded warriors after they come home. We become involved with the set of characters we have come to know and love. Getting to see one we have known deserved someone finally get his other half was just outstanding. While there are some hard scenes in this book it's real life as unfortunately things that are tragic do happen as the world is not all sunshine and roses. I loved this wonderful book
