If you have the previous Seventeenth or Eighteenth editions of this well-regarded classic (from 2004 and 2011, respectively), this engaging 700-plus-page tome is not a vital necessity. For someone setting out on her/his own, though, it's great, as are the child-instruction tips and the well-researched consideration on such topics as: how many emoticons are too many? - a.s.
