Enthralling for Dollars
Nancy suspected her husband Jim was cheating on her. Changes in her health had changed the dynamics in their marriage, leaving Nancy to wonder if her husband's meetings with a personal trainer were more focused on the personal aspect and less on the training. Needing to know the truth, Nancy hired Private Investigator Peter Blaylock to find out what her husband was up to. What Peter discovered unmoored his perception of reality.

I continued to watch as I mentally reviewed the possibilities – and there weren't many. Jim slid off the bed and put his clothes back on. He tossed the robe into the hamper before exiting the room.

I stopped recording before scrambling out of the car to catch his exit from the house. I hid at the corner, waiting for him to appear. I didn't care if anyone saw me lurking there or not. Part of me wondered what they did after that... whatever that was. Did they sit down and chat over coffee? Maybe discuss how their day went?

None of that could have happened because Jim was out the door and heading down the steps shortly after I reached the corner. I glanced at the porch to see the redhead in the doorway waving goodbye. Jim turned back, a smile still plastered on his face and waved in return.
