I found this book tedious and boring. I never thought I would say that about the stones. Most of the sources seem to be half-wits who are clinging onto there minor associations with the band. The author adds no insight at all into the making of one of the greataest albums in rock history. Instead, he focuses on all the drugs the band is taking.(Is this news to anyone, what the stones did drugs? I never knew.)The only thing vaguely interesting is the visit Gram Parsons had with Keith, and that is only like two pages. I would avoid this book if your looking to find some insight into the world of the stones.

This book gives you a true understanding of what drugs do to people. To me, this band are low lives with money. I love the Stones and grew up with a crush on Mick Jagger. I still love them and they are very talented. I recently also read Life about Keith Richards and have more respect for this band member now.
