Overview

What if you had done something so unimaginable in your past that you could never be forgiven?John Mikale, a man with a checkered reputation, is unable to shake free from the hurt he's caused in his past knowing how many people it scarred in its wake. Now married and expecting another child, he's haunted by cryptic dreams, leaving him unable to move forward unless he connects with his estranged daughter, Chastity. He begins writing her letters hoping to bridge the gap, yet how can he expect forgiveness when he can't begin to forgive himself?Chastity Wayne, finally free from her mother's past, is on the verge of falling in love and about to start her burgeoning art career when she receives a letter from the father she'd always dreamed of having until the day she didn't. From the moment she opens the envelope, any emotional freedom she's found is reclaimed line by line.Facing Redemption is a dual storyline that follows an unwanted father and daughter's journey as they navigate the ties that bind them. It also continues Chastity and Timothy's love story which began in Finding Kylie, the first book in this series.WARNING!!! I write about characters who struggle with real-life issues. Two of these characters are in a committed relationship but have never 'done the deed.' In fact, they've chosen the right path for them and abstained from their desire due to their faith. While my characters don't have sex, the book will touch on the subject while still offering readers a clean romance.

About the Author

As military brat, Kimberly has traveled the world over, but grew up mostly in Hawaii and Virginia. Her father's duty stations took them everywhere from Japan to ½ the continental U.S. Since 1990, Kimberly has called Oklahoma home. It is where her family and her heart are - even though she always wishes she were closer to the beach.

Kimberly has been married for 13 wonderful years to her husband, Todd, and they have a wonderfully creative 10 year-old boy, who also likes to write. Kimberly will be quick to say how happy they both make her. She says, 'with the two of them in my life, it's a never ending journey and never gets boring."

Kimberly's first book, Finding Kylie, was published in 2008. Finding Kylie has received numerous positive reviews and was recently converted into a screenplay. Now that Facing Redemption is completed Kimberly is working on the final book in the series, which will follow Anne's journey. Look for Broadcast Affair coming soon.

This is such an inspirational book. It doesn't push religion on you, but makes you think about your own path and how much God loves you. The characters are very real, and I didn't want it to end. I got very attached to these characters.

John Mikale has a secret that haunts him, gives him nightmares and tears at his soul. In his youth, he had done something horrible. He is happily married and expecting his first child with his wife Andie. Chastity was missing her mother who had recently died, All alone in Venice, taking an art class, she was filled with anticipation for the impending visit of her boyfriend Timothy. But all is not beauty and excitement..she still has to decide what to do with the letter from her father, a man she has never known, who's family made her childhood, fragmented and unsettled, forcing her and her mother to move frequently, never being able to put down roots. These two stories connect and intertwine as God has a hand in the future of both. A great story about faith and adversity.
