When you look in your mirror, do you like what you see? Or, are you like most people who avoid their mirror to mask the reminders of their mistakes, or the scars of their experiences. Even though trials are unavoidable, they don't have to define us. In this book, author Daphne Delay shares the valuable lesson that she learned in front of her own mirror and how she was able to teach it to her son a few years before a tragic car accident left him scarred from third-degree burns. In this book, you will learn to see yourself as God sees you and also discover the truth about God. You will learn the truth about the lies and deception that have held you back and be taught how to live in the freedom that God intended you too have!

Today is a day I've looked forward to for several months...Daphne Delay's new book titled "Facing the Mirror: Finding a Self to Live With" is officially released! I've had the honor & privilege of being a part of her Launch Team, which included the opportunity to preview the book. In the Introduction Daphne tells the story of how the book came to be...when after sharing her testimony with a group of women the Holy Spirit whispered the words to her "Write it down and I'll put it in the hands of people you'll never meet." The words she wrote down have become a powerful message of righteousness! And sharing this message with others has become her passion! God used something as simple as her bathroom mirror to free her from her past mistakes. She was obedient to write it down...and now God is being faithful to put it in the hands of people she'll never meet! Daphne says in her book "We look into mirrors at our reflection all the time, but we only see our exterior. Yet how we view ourselves will have the greatest impact on our life". My own life is full of past mistakes. And my children's lives are full of past mistakes. As I read her book, I began to understand righteousness more than ever before. And to truly see myself the way that God sees me. Now I want nothing more than for my children to understand it and experience the same freedom! God told Daphne that He would put it in the hands of people she would never meet...I want to put it in the hands of everyone I know and love! Thank you Daphne...for writing it down!
