About the Author

Lorrie Fair plays midfield for the Philadelphia Charge of the Women's United Soccer Association and the United States women's national team. One of the most accomplished women's soccer players in the United States, she led the University of North Carolina to three national titles and was the only collegiate member on the 1999 women's World Cup team.

Mark Gola is the coauthor of As Koufax Said.
