Jennifer L. Armentrout (also known as J. Lynn), New York Times bestselling author of the Wait for You saga, delivers a new novel of first love, second chances, and scorching chemistry.

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She's been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She's sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.

Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She's not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

But Reece isn't convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn't believe him, he's not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He's already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he's not going to let history repeat itself.

Bestseller Armentrout shines with this tight, suspenseful new adult tale, the fourth in her Wait for You saga (after Stay with Me). Bartender Roxy Ark’s best friend, Charlie, is tragically injured in a hate-crime incident that Roxy feels is her fault. Years later, she still carries the guilt. Former Marine Reece Anders wants desperately to provide the hope and love Roxy needs—if she’ll only let him. While Roxy’s been in love with Reece since she was a teenager, she’s convinced that she doesn’t have the right to be happy when her best friend is irreparably damaged. When a predator targeting local young women appears to set his sights on Roxy, it’s up to Reece to rescue her, with help from an unexpected source. Readers will speed-read to find out what happens next to the powerfully appealing characters. Agent: Kevan Lyon, Marsal Lyon Literary Agency. (Mar.)

Kirkus Review
Roxanne "Roxy" Ark has been in love with Reece Anders for years without acting on it, but when she faces a number of threats, Reece compels her to acknowledge her danger and their attraction.Roxy was in high school when the Anderses moved in next door, and she crushed on Reece immediately. Soon after, Roxy's world turned upside down when she was involved in a tragic incident she still feels responsible for and which left her gay best friend, Charlie, barely alive. After graduation, Reece went into the Marines and came back wounded, and as he healed, their relationship changed, settling them into a holding pattern as friends, despite the fact that they are clearly attracted to each other. When Reece tries to force the issue, Roxy allows a rift to form between them, since she's determined to keep almost everyone at an emotional distance, believing she doesn't deserve happiness. Roxy is 26, and Reece wants her to overcome her misplaced guilt and live a full life, pursuing her artistic talent and giving up an unfulfilling academic path. Around the time Charlie's assailant is released from prison, it becomes apparent that someone is stalking Roxy, and Reece won't let her navigate the dangers on her own. His forced proximity leads to sexual intimacy, but Roxy refuses to admit to an emotional connection. Meanwhile, the threat closes in, leading to a dangerous confrontation. Armentrout's latest has a lot going on and is in many ways emotionally satisfying. The first quarter of the book has a confusing timeline, however, and many of Roxy's choices come across as immature, while her decision to blame things moving around in her house on a ghost (as everyone around her—including now-cop Reece—is warning her of a possible serial rapist) is dubious. Still, the romance is sexy and conflicted, and the suspense is interesting if not enthralling. Not perfect but escapist and engaging.

4.5 stars; Roxy rules! I always thought being in Roxy's head would be a hoot, partially because of the awesome printed t-shirts she was always wore and the fact avoiding Reece or cursing at him is how she dealt with him. There was something there between them and I picked up on it in Stay With Me. I had no idea they'd had a moment in her seeming unrequited six year crush on him. I also had no idea her quips and smiles at the bar were hiding something so painful. Roxy was easy to like.  She's feisty, smart, and talented.  She loves deeply as is seen by her devotion and dedication to visit Charlie, her childhood best friend.  The circumstances behind Charlie's current state were heartbreaking for everyone involved and painful to contemplate. I loved how the matter was treated and portrayed. The message that a simple act can have lasting consequences is one lesson that can be learned from this story, while another is how anger and hate never lead to peace and resolution. I understood Roxy's anger at what happened to Charlie and the fact Henry was out and free.  Reece was easy to like too. He cared for Roxy, and her putting him off or cursing at him bothered him, especially since he didn't know why she was behaving in the manner she was.  I liked how Reece forced her to deal with it head on once he'd had enough of waiting for her to tell him. Besides Reece, it was great to meet his family members and then some of Roxy's too.  If I thought Roxy was a hoot, her mama was that times 10. I was also pleasantly surprised by the change in Nate in this book. He's really coming out of his shell.  I also liked seeing characters from previous books doing well in this book. I dearly love the friends to lovers trope, but it wasn't able to make up for the romantic suspense aspect. It's not that it wasn't written well, it was, but I felt it was a  little too predictable and I do love my plot twists.  Over all the book was very enjoyable.  The connection Roxy and Reece had was easy to pick up on and it was hot! I'm looking forward to reading more in this series and having my socks blown off. Another great story told and another hot guy from the group has been netted!

Smexy. Suspenseful. Fun. I love all of JLA's stories but this one---well, this one kind of freaked me out a little. As with the other books in this series, I enjoyed the characters, fast pace, the relationships forged and of course the romance, but what really stood out was the creep factor. The stalker element kicked this up a notch from romantic suspense to "sleep with the lights on". On more than one occasion, I found myself wanting to cover my eyes and read through my fingers. There may have also been some yelling at the characters too.

Jennifer picks up the general cast of her Wait For You series for this latest installment, but focuses attention on a new main character- Roxy, the bartender at Mona's. I love that you get to keep the "old" and bring in fresh blood with every book. Roxy was tough but beaten. She had so much to deal with but struggled with her future. Her character issues were very relateable even if the circumstances were not. HELLO Reece! Jennifer adds another to her Arsenal of Hotties. I was blown to bits by his depth, his strength and determination. There were a variety of issues at play throughout the book and they were interwoven nicely. The plot had wonderful pacing. It was a fantastic read that I plowed through in one sitting. Excellent job, well done!

I fell in to all the story lines that all the books have, but this one I waited the longest for. Ever since Calla's story, I have wanted to know what was going on with Reece and Roxy. Such a good story, super easy to follow, and I read it super fast too. Recommended for those who want a fast read with cute outcomes.

Wait For Me is an intriguing. story dealing with deep drama, hurt, passionate sex with love and a chilling thriller ending. It lacks enough detail about the villain to build a true nail biting end. The heartfelt. portrait of a helpless young man is emotional and plays well in the plot. The sex is over played and needs to be toned down.

Every book in this series has me holding my breath, laughing, crying and fanning myself! Roxy and Reece just jumped right in and I loved that. Even with their past they still knew they would be together. But I will say this..makes me want to double check my closet and just double check the bed...this book gave me the creeps! I hope we get more with these characters!

Wow....Just wow! I don't think J.Lynn could write anything that I didn't like! The woman is a genius! Fall with Me is the 4th book in the Wait for You Series, and follows the life of Roxy! Roxy is a great and strong character and I loved her in the previous book Stay With Me, so was very excited to get her story! Roxy has been in love with Reece since she was 15, but one drunken night changed everything and they became strangers for a short space of time.  I loved this book! It brought out so many different emotions, and the characters well so well written and developed, that you cannot help but love them! Roxy is a wonderful strong person, but she holds a lot of guilt from her past, and Reece has been through a lot too and they just fit together perfectly!  As well as the focus on Roxy and Reece, you still get the old favourites popping up in this book! Jax and Calla, Cam and Avery...I cannot wait to see what J.Lynn has in store for us next!
