When Navy firefighter Nick Palotay returns to Marietta to go on the bachelor auction block for a good cause, he expects it to be risk free. But when he needs someone safe to bid on him and his sister's best friend is coaxed into stepping up, Nick isn't prepared for the effect Cassidy has on him. She sends his mind to all kinds of dirty places...places his battered heart can't afford.

Freelance photographer Cassidy Ware is in waaay over her head. She's always been Nick's other little sister, but she's all grown up now and just a glance from him leaves her hot and bothered. Still, she can stay immune to his charms and keep him at an emotional distance because she's got an agenda, too. She'll help the too-handsome Nick with his charitable deed, and, in return, he'll help her keep an unwelcome suitor at bay.

A deal's a deal, but when their "business transaction" turns into more pleasure than duty, can they walk away from each other without losing what matters most?

Predictable but good.

This is the second book in the Bachelor Auction Returns series. Cassidy has always had a crush on her best friend's older brother and when she bids on him in the auction to help him avoid an obsessed admirer, they both get more than they bargained for. This book is hot, sexy and humorous - I loved the chemistry and dialogue between Cassidy and Nick. The first I've read by Robin Bielman, but I'd definitely read her work again.

The characters were heartwarming, their banter was witty and their chemistry was off-the-charts. "God, you smell good. Your pheromones are a definite mating call to mine." FALLING FOR HER BACHELOR is a very enjoyable contemporary romance from the awesome Robin Bielman! Her books are must-reads for me! FALLING FOR HER BACHELOR is the second installment in the CY2016 return of The Bachelor Auction which features a bachelor auction in Marietta with four new bachelors committed to helping their former football coach who lost his grandson when weather delayed medical treatment. All the books in this set can be fully enjoyed as standalone reads, if that is your preference. This is the story of Navy firefighter Nick Palotay and freelance photographer Cassidy Ware. Cassidy has had a crush on Nick for as long as she can remember. Now he's back in town to go up on the charity auction block. When Nick gets cold feet at the thought of being won by a woman who has her unwelcome sight set on him, he asks for Cassidy's assistance to "win" him instead - only to find out that Cassidy isn't such a safe bet after all. He discovers that he can't keep his thoughts clean and his body in control around her - even though she should be strictly off-limits as the sister to his best friend. Regardless, his heart isn't in any shape to fall in love again after being previously badly burned. Cassidy agrees to bid on Nick with the understanding that he will return the favor by attending a gala with her to discourage an unwelcome suitor who doesn't seem to understand that she's not interested in his attentions. Even though she knows better than to involve her heart in their business arrangement, her heart doesn't listen, leaving her to pick up the pieces. The characters were heartwarming, their banter was witty and their chemistry was off-the-charts. There was some angst as both had been through much in the past that had to be worked through. No worries, though. The HEA ending is Robin's characteristic awesome! This book kept me riveted from start to finish. Robin's writing was engaging and the story was well-paced. I highly recommend FALLING FOR HER BACHELOR to anyone who enjoys sweet and hot, highly entertaining contemporary romances! My full review is posted at Reading Between The Wines Book Club. I adored this book. I liked the pacing, it was so easy to be absorbed in the story. Before I knew it, I was done. I found it had funny moments, there was so many times had me laughing out loud. I found it had just the right amount of sexy time, it had me blushing numerous times. I liked their backstories weren't so far fetched and it made them reasonably wary of things at first for a good reason. I also loved the chemistry between Nick and Cassidy. I loved that this reads as a standalone. I have not read the companion novels yet because 1) the others are written by different authors and 2) I just don't have the time. I squeezed this in because the author can do no wrong when she writes. I love her books. The only thing I didn't like (and it could be because of the copy I got) was when the POV's switched between the two. I would be reading Cassidy's perspective then the next paragraph it would be Nick's without any warning. Vice versa. Other than that it was wonderful. *I received this from the author for an honest review

I really enjoyed Nick and Cassidy's story! Having known one another for years Cassidy saves Nick from a "crazy" girl at this years bachelor auction. Nick is afraid that Cassidy's childhood crush on him will complicate there weekend date but she sets him straight! I loved both main characters. Even through all the pain in there past they are fun loving and entertaining!

Falling for Her Bachelor by Robin Bielman is part of a series but can easily be read as a stand alone. It´s book 2. This Bachelor Auction Returns is basically second round of the auction, but there is no real connection to the other auction. Just the same theme. And I love it. It all builds around this Bachelor auction that need to gather enough money for a helipad for the town. That´s the very short version. It´s very well written, with great character. It takes us back to my favorite fictional town, Marietta in Montana. A great read.

Falling for Bachelor #2 Growing up, Cassidy had a crush on her best friend's brother, Nick, but he thought of her as a pest. Now, both are back in Marietta for different reasons, each with their own baggage. Nick agreed to participate in the Bachelor Auction, along with his former teammates, to help his former coach's cause. When he realizes that he may be one by someone that may expect a whole lot more, he begs his sister to find someone else to bid on him, he will even donate the money. When Cassidy steps up, he is afraid her old crush on him will lead to stronger feelings, which he didn't want. Cassidy, on the other hand, looks at it as him owing her a favor and figures the "date" will help her take some risks she wouldn't usually take. These two were fun as they worked through their own issues, both alone and together. This was a new-to-me-author, and I enjoyed the story she told. The story fit into the series, and the characters were a fun addition to Marietta. *I received an advanced copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Bachelor #2 is Nick, ex Navy Firefighter, who is looking for an easing bidding so he asks his sister to find a bidder to play it safe. Not expecting his sister to pick her best friend, Cassidy. Cassidy had always had a childhood crush on Nick. Cassidy has agreed to help Nick out, if he returns the favor of when she needs a date. They are both fighting inner demons from previous relationships. Can they help each other out, without getting their hearts broken? This is a page turner, full of romance, sexy but sweet. Believe me you will fall in love with these two characters, and want more. A great story that I highly recommend. Robin Bielman is an auto buy for me!!

I received a free copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review. I've been a big fan of Robin Bielman's work for a while now and I love opening my email to find another one is on its way! This book was a really cute, fun, steamy book that I couldn't put down. I read it in one day! I really love the trope of a woman falling for her best friend's older brother and this one didn't disappoint. And seriously, a bachelor auction?! Sign me up! (But don't tell my husband ;) haha) It's so fun how Nick wants to protect Cassidy because growing up she was like another annoying little sister. But once they spend the weekend together, things quickly change between them. Both Nick and Cassidy were a little broken when they saw each other after many years apart and together, they learn to heal. I love that Nick brought out Cassidy's adventurous side and Cassidy teaches him how to let go of his past, just enough to look forward to the future. This book absolutely had me hooked from the very first page, just like Bielman's work always does! She definitely knows what she's doing and I cannot wait to read everything else she has! I love when a book can keep me hooked enough to read it in one day. I struggled to put this down, even when my husband was calling me for dinner! If anyone is looking for a quick, sexy read, don't pass this one up! Seriously, it's so good! Pagesofcomfort.blogspot.com

Cassidy has had a crush on Nick for years. He has always thought of her as his little sister's friend and maybe an annoyance. Nick's sister asked Cassidy to bid on him to save him from another woman who wanted him. When they went on their "date", Cassidy had so much fun and found out that she has a bit of a wild side. Nick has been guarding his heart for years and doesn't want to think of Cassidy any other way but his little sister's friend. But, that may not be possible after their weekend together.

Cassidy Ware is a freelance photographer. She's come home to clean out her childhood home. Her parents had retired to Florida. As luck would have it she meets up with her childhood crush, Nick Palotay. He's visiting to help his high school football coach raise money with a charity bachelor auction. A twist of fate and Sid wins Nick for a weekend date. What happens next is pure romance. Their chemistry is powerful and they become involved. Neither wants to commit. Or do they? Both Sid and Nick have emotional baggage that makes them wary of love. I liked both characters and wished that their pain wouldn't keep them apart. I wanted them to find the love and happiness that they deserved. I never miss reading the Bachelor Auction stories. They are filled with breath taking romance and a HEA. Marietta provides the perfect setting. Robin Bielman has done a wonderful job with this feel good novel. Falling for Bachelor is a sweet treat. I received a copy in exchange for an honest and unscripted review.

The first few pages already had me giggling so it's no surprise that this would be a really enjoyable read. Nick and Sid's chemistry went right off the charts especially when they went off on their auction date. Nick and Sid grew up together and since Sid was his sister Rowan's best friend, he had never looked at Sid more than a sister. Sid on the other hand, has had a long time crush on Nick which even Rowan didn't know. So the few days away provided them an opportunity for Sid to be close to Nick and for Nick to see the grown woman that Sid had become. Nick has emotional baggage and as much as he's really liking Sid, he can't offer her long term and forever. Sid is finally having Nick's attention and she will take whatever Nick is able to offer her even though it's gonna hurt when it all ends or maybe not. As always, Robin Bielman has a way of writing that makes you feel and fall in love with the characters, the beautiful scenes, feel the fun from those adrenaline filled activities that they did together. Robin also comes up with the warmest fuzzy, swoon worthy quotes. Definitely a read to check out. "Life isn't always fair. But I don't have a life if you're not in it." An exciting fast paced romance. Marietta’s star football player and war hero Nick Palotay was back in Marietta for Coach Downey’s bachelor auction fundraiser. When Nick finds out crazy Mandy is willing to outbid everyone to have the weekend away with him, Nick asks his sister to find someone to outbid Mandy. He is willing to cover the bid just to avoid being with Mandy. Freelance photographer Cassidy Ware has been best friends with Rowan, Nick’s sister, since they were young girls. Cassidy had a secret crush on Nick for a long time but she is finally over it. When Rowan asks Cassidy to outbid everyone in the auction, she is happy to do it. But she has a plan of her own. She needs a date to the photography association dinner and she wants Nick to accompany her so another photographer will finally stop making passes at her. Will Nick and Cassidy be able to remain just friends or will they give into the desires that are building as they spend time together? I really enjoyed Nick and Cassidy’s story. They were perfect for each other. They both helped each other overcome tragedies of their pasts and learned to trust love again. I felt it was a perfect pairing of characters and the story was outlined very well.

I really liked this book and the chemistry between Cassidy and Nick. From the start of the book until the end, it held my interest, made me laugh, cry a bit and smile a lot. Cassidy has known and had a crush on Nick since she was young. Nick knew she did but never encouraged it. When Nick is auctioned to help raise funds for a local helipad, he seeks help from his sister when a past crazy woman stakes a claim on him. A great addition to the series. "Falling for Her Bachelor" by Robin Bielman is book two in the "Bachelor Auction Returns" series. This is Navy firefighter Nick Palotay and freelance photographer Cassidy Ware's story. Nick is back in town to volunteer for the bachelor auction. He has just been honorably discharged from the Navy. Nick is dealing with the loss of two good friends and not sure where or what he will do now. Cassidy is back in town to pack up her childhood home. She is trying to decide where her career or personal life will lead her next. Nick asks his sister for help so some crazy women doesn't win him in the auction. This is where Cassidy comes in. Secretly she has always had a crush on Nick, but he just saw her as his little sister's friend. Cassidy agrees to help Nick and wins him in the auction. They worked out a deal that Nick will also attend an event with Cassidy to help fend off this guy that won't leave her alone. Nick is now noticing Cassidy, a grown hot women, not seeing her as his little sister's friend anymore. Cassidy thought she had gotten over her crush on Nick. But Nick, the man, is so hot! Their relationship begins to change and things begin to heat up. Will Nick and Cassidy choose the path to take a chance on true love or will they take different paths? A great read! I loved how Robin writes. The story gets your attention right from the beginning and keeps it throughout the book. The chemistry and attraction between Nick and Cassidy was steamy and hot! This story provided the reader with humor, passion, and heartwarming moments. I look forward to reading other books by Robin Bielman. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review. FYI, contains mature content.

Navy Firefighter, Nick Palotay is wonderful at those sexy, sarcastic comebacks. He's everything I expected and more. This "falling for her best friends brother" story is fun, sexy, witty and the setting was beautiful. I laughed and cried and wished I really knew these fabulous people. I loved how through it all, Nick and Cassidy could still joke and laugh with each other. At one point I actually felt Cassidy's heartbreak over Nick. Nick has endured his share of losses which is hard to move past. The misplaced guilt and the fear of putting someone else through that is overwhelming. The love these two felt for each other is the forever kind but the baggage in their way was too much. The one thing I wasn't expecting was the story of Cassidy's college boyfriend. HORRIBLE! I am NEVER disappointed by this author and the books she writes. FANTASTIC! I can't wait to see what's next. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

5 - "It was perfect. Every Minute." Stars! I absolutely adored Robin Bielman’s addition to the Bachelor Auction series. Perfect romantic escapism, and anything that gives me more time in Marietta, Montana is always a plus, but something just clicked with Cassidy and Nick’s story, and I simply couldn’t put it down. The author took one of my favourite tropes, in Best-Friends Big Brother and crafted a well-developed, sexy coming together. Sid and Nick have been a part of each others lives from childhood, but he only really ever saw her as a surrogate little sister, but now both back in town, after more than a few years passing, seeing Sid again doesn’t bring out anything brotherly in him. "Sometimes nothing is everything." What starts as a weekend of no strings adrenaline fueled fun, after winning Nick in the Bachelor Auction, progresses to a few weeks of illicit sex as both Nick and Cassidy realize that their connection goes a little more deeper than 'No-Strings', but they are both due to leave town and go back to their respective lives in completely different states, so the possibility of a future seems to be out of reach. "I want to breathe you in, every inch of you… Kiss you, taste you, and know what it feels like to be buried inside you." Nick is dealing with a few demons from his past, and as the story progresses Cassidy is the one he turns to, to help work through them with him, and I absolutely adored the development of their relationship around this. The drama is well paced and not overplayed, and Robin just gives her readers a couple that you cannot help falling in love with, as they fall in love with each other. "I’m not ready to let this go yet…" An absolute winner for me, the second book in the series delivered on all counts. I really hope at some point the author gets the opportunity to give Rowan Palotay her story, as Nicks single little sister, and Cassidy’s best friend she featured quite a bit in Falling For Her Bachelor and I really liked her, so would love to see her have her own 'Happily Ever After' at some point. I cannot wait for the next book, Sinclair Jayne is a new author to me, and I am looking forward to seeing what sort of story she gives her Bachelor. ARC generously provided by the publisher, and it was a pleasure to provide the above honest review.

I loved everything about this storyline. From her unrequited crush on Nick to Nick's refusal to give Cassidy more. This book is filled with heavy emotions, conquering fears, learning to live and be carefree again, and opening up your broken heart again. I adore the theme of falling in love with your sibling's best friend. And when the one who fights the attraction the most discovers they are truly wanting to give all of themselves, that story is golden. There wasn't any part of this story I didn't like. There were even a few scenes that totally broke my heart. I only wish there was more. I loved Nick and his Sid. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author.

This one was awesome! A little bit sweet, a little bit naughty, and a whole lotta fun! Nick and Cassidy were great characters and their story definitely left me smiling. Nick is back in Marietta and agrees to participate in the bachelor auction. It is after all for a good cause but when he finds himself desperately needing someone "safe" to bid on him, he finds himself at the mercy of Cassidy who needs a little help herself. He's always thought of her as a sister, but when he thought of her she sure didn't look like that nor did she rev his engine the way she does now! He may find out that auction was the best thing to ever happen to him! Definitely recommend this one. It's a fun quick read.

Cassidy might have had a little crush on her friend's big brother Nick when they were younger but nothing ever came of it and in the meantime they've gone on to have successful careers (he's a Navy Firefighter and she's a photographer). Back home in Marietta, helping out Nick by bidding on him at the charity bachelor auction in their home town at the behest of her friend turns into a deal between them whereby he'll return the favor and be her date to a work function to keep an amorous would-be suitor away. While it's supposed to be a hands off arrangement, the truth is that spending time together makes them both aware of the latent simmering attraction between them. When it spills over will they able to go back to just being friends or will they take a step forward into a new future together? I'm a big fan of the 'best friend's sibling' trope and loved what the author did with it here. Nick was a bit wary at first of Cassidy being his date, as he wasn't unaware of her crush on him as a teenager and he's hesitant to encourage her in any way. He knows that they both have plans for the future that involve moving away from Marietta (and not in the same direction). Not only that, but he's dealt with a lot of loss in his life, and he's got a pretty strong guard up around his heart. However he's got some fun, adventurous plans for the two of them as part of his auction date, and is quick to realize that spending that time with Cassidy is way more exciting than he'd expected. The sexual attraction between them certainly doesn't hurt, and while he's clear with her that if they pursue it, it can't be anything serious, it doesn't stop his heart (and hers) from getting involved after all. They share some sexy scenes together and Nick really comes across as a nice guy, even if he's indecisive about making things permanent with Cassidy. For her part, Cassidy might be smitten but she's not going to let that stop her from continuing her own future plans, which I definitely appreciated - no waiting around for Nick to make up his mind. Fortunately he eventually makes the right choice, and we get a lovely happy ending for the couple. It was a fun and entertaining story, with a sexy and sometimes emotional romance. I'm looking forward to more in this series of connected Bachelor auction stories! 4.5 stars.

As usual, Robin Bielman delivered an emotion-packed story. My dilemma was that I couldn't turn the pages fast enough but I also didn't want the story to end! The author did a wonderful job of bringing Nick and Cassidy from a high-school crush to the kind of relationship I think most of us are looking for - commitment, a feeling of safety and being cherished. The kind of happily-ever-after that we expect from a Robin Bielman book with lots of fun, adventures and surprises on the journey to that happy ending. Wonderful read!!
