Falling Up is a good book for any middle or high school girl. The main character is Kim Peterson. She goes through many struggles in her life. Just the beginning of her problems is that her mom has just died. Kim's best friend is about to make a horrible life changing decision, and is not there to encourage Kim as she is going through a hard time. With her dad still grieving , her mom gone, and her best friend dealing with problems of her own she feels as if she has no one to talk to. With a surprising anxiety attack she is rushed to the hospital. The doctor says that she is under to much stress and needs to go on a vacation and calm down. Her dad sends her to her grand mothers house in Florida which is out in the country. There she learned to calm down and the "real world" would keep going on with out her for a little while. After coming home her best friend made the right choice and found out that she some times has to let go of other peoples problems.

This was a great book, although it needs a grammar check. I found many spelling mistakes and the story was kind of all over the place. First, Kim was crying, begging for her mom to come back, then she's with her two BFFs, Maya and Shannon, who turn out to be her cousin and aunt. Then, she asks Jamie, The Answer Girl, for advice, and turns out that in the description, Kim is Jamie. I refuse myself from getting another book from this author, but she has amazing description and imagination.

The main character of this book is Kim Peterson. Kim¿s mom just found out that she has cancer, and no one knows how long she has until she will die. Kim and her dad are very afraid that Kim¿s mom will die before Christmas. While all of this is going on, Kim¿s best friend Natalie, is also going through very hard times. Natalie and her boyfriend Ben, are not talking as much and Natalie thinks they are going to break up, so she pressures Ben into doing something that could mess up both of their lives forever. From all of this, Kim starts to feel very stressed, and her dad decides to send her to Florida to visit her grandma. To find out what happens to Natalie, Kim¿s mom, and Kim, you will have to read the book, because I can¿t tell you much more without giving away major details. I thought this book was really good, because of how it shows that there are other people out there struggling in life, and how it shows you that you can get through these struggles if you just listen to God. Also the book could possibly teach others a thing or two about how to deal with the problems they face in life. This book is the third book in the series. Before you read this book you should read book one and two first. I think all teenage girls would love these books, and this series. Melody Carlson is an amazing writer that really relates to things that teenagers go through in the books she writes. These books are the best and I would recommend them to any teenage girl.
