Tim Dry's memoir of a life in arts, rises and falls through the worlds of art school, mime and pop, where he tours with Gary Numan and makes a high-wire appearance on stage with Duran Duran. He plays monsters in Return of the Jedi and Xtro, makes a globetrottery of expensive commercials, works with Joan Collins, Rutger Hauer and Mick Jagger, presents a food programme on Channel 4, and experiments with drugs to channel the ghost of Baudelaire as he begins a literary career.
