First They Worked

First They Worked is a fictional story based upon events in my life.
This story was formed over many years and is not muted by time. It is the story of a family who worked together and considered the growth of their family and their accomplishments of greatest worth. They were a common people for their day and uncommon for ours. They increased in understanding, adapted to their environment and did the best they could with what they had. It is a story that some grandparents will want to read to their little ones. It is now history, and we are better for it.
