Received the book just a couple of days ago and have made a couple of things. Satisfied with the results. The recipes are thorough and well explained. I would give this a four except for a major flaw: the lack of cook and prep times. You might expect a cookbook to indicate total time for the recipe. A really good recipe breaks this down to “hands on” or “active” and total time. This does neither! Especially annoying with a recipe, eg., bread, that required resting or refrigerating between “active” steps. You must read through the recipe and literally add up the times to get an idea of when you must start to achieve a finish time. Considering that America’s Test Kitchen is typically precise in every way, I’m very disappointed and surpassed that America’s Test Kitchen would publish with this flaw.
