Overview

Sometimes to find your future, you must look to the past...

Katherine Wakefield has dreamed and written of her knight in shining armor all her life. Never finding a man to measure up to the one of her imagination, she and her three closest friends take a dream vacation to England. Yet, strange things begin happening while visiting Bamburgh Castle, but how could they have known they'd find themselves thrown back more than eight hundred years into the past?

Riorden de Deveraux travels to Bamburgh answering the summons of King Henry II knowing his past life is about to catch up with him. But nothing prepares him for the beautiful vision of a strangely clad ghost who first appears in his chamber, let alone the fact he begins having a conversation with her.

Centuries are keeping them apart until Time gives them a chance at finding love. But there are obstacles threatening the fragile bit of hope that Riorden and Katherine can remain together. Will the past of one consume what their future may hold, or will Time take the decision from them and hurdle Katherine forward to where she truly belongs?

Don't miss Sherry Ewing's sequel to For All of Ever in Only For You along with her debut novel, If My Heart Could See You. It's the novel that began her series and where Riorden de Deveraux makes his first appearance as Captain of the guard! Her recent release, A Knight To Call My Own, continues the saga of Lynet from the MacLaren Clan and If My Heart Could See You.

Katherine Wakefield is fed up with men of her time. They’re rude, conceited, and just overall not gentleman; nothing like the men of old she writes about. Or dreams about. In short, none can compare to her knight in armor who comes to her at all hours of the day. The one she can see and feel his presence but cannot touch. Riorden de Deveraux, knight to King Henry II, vows there is no such thing as love after being lied to and betrayed by the one woman who he wanted to be with forever. So what accounts for his constant visions of the lady in strange clothing and how he can feel her presence; and how does he know her name? Katherine and her friends vacation in England touring all the places Katherine writes and dreams about. However, she doesn’t forsee how they affect her or how they will change her future forever. Riorden cannot escape the visions of his lady and now he’s talking to her. Wanting nothing to do with a ghost he denounces her and demands she return to where she’s from. He’s confused by his unexpected feelings when he realizes how he has hurt her. He prays her soul will find peace so she may rest in eternity. A prayer that has an outcome he’s not expecting. Realizing they are each flesh and blood transcends into a love story that had this reader breathing s deep sigh. Add in the differences between centuries, an Irish rebel, a displeased King, and travels into the unknown and you have Sherry Ewing’s exciting tale of one love and two centuries coming together. While Ms. Ewing’s story concentrates on the main characters she gives enough hints of secondary characters (without taking away from Katherine and Riorden) that this reader is anxious to see what lies ahead.
