I feel as though I am part of the unpopular opinion crew for this book. I have come to really trust the media specialists that choose the Florida Sunshine State Book picks, but this felt out of character. The concept was certainly promising, a summer camp ravaged by rabid forest creatures. I was very excited to read this book. The execution of the story felt a bit clunky and the characters were a big cliché: the untrustworthy brains, bully who has a heart of gold, tough girl with a soft spot, unlikely leader, etc. Yes, there were some chapters that ended with such a cliffhanger that I was compelled to keep reading, but I think the writing style detracted from the main story. This is by no means the worst book I’ve ever read, but it is also not one I will be adding to my bookshelves. This would be a great recommendation for fans of Goosebumps that have moved to the next level, but for me it was a miss.

This book is good but in pages 80-84 they talk about drowning people as if its a normal thing, like killing is a normal thing.

A group of kids fighting for their survival from rabid animals intent of killing them. I loved the interactions between the characters, the great dialogue, and not knowing who survives in the end.

This book is awesome! I love these kind of books i got it because i loved the story. It was about a bunch of animals in this camp that have gone bad and if you get bitten you turn into a zombie i recommand this book for fifth graders.

Awesome book! This book was my favorite book that I read all year. As soon as I read the back of the book I knew that it would be a really good book. Now after I read it and it turned in to my favorite book in the whole year.
