What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

“There’s the classic joke: Jesus performed many miracles during his public ministry, but perhaps his greatest miracle was having twelve close friends. Friendship is simply hard, especially in today’s digital world! However, Maggie Craig makes it much more practical and much less daunting with Friendship Reset.” —Tanner Kalina, Catholic evangelist and author of Aching for Greatness

“A faithful friend is a strong defense, and finding one is like finding a treasure . . . A faithful friend is also like medicine for life, and those who fear the Lord will find one” (Eccl 6:14–16). Scripture is clear: healthy, holy friendships are so important for us. A good friend is a treasure indeed. Yet many today struggle to find the life-giving, Christ-centered friendships that we all need—that we all desire. In Friendship Reset, Maggie Craig gives thoughtful and practical advice on how to evaluate, cultivate, and navigate modern friendships. If you find yourself feeling confused, uncertain, or dissatisfied with your friendships, this book will be a great aid and companion to you!” —Matthew Breuninger, associate professor of clinical psychology at Franciscan University of Steubenville

“Friendship is a path to joy, to the rebuilding of the Church and world, and ultimately to an encounter with God. We don’t take it seriously enough. And perhaps more tragically, we’ve forgotten how—as our parents told us when we were five—to “make friends.” Maggie Craig reminds us why friendship matters and most importantly how to build life-changing friendships in practical ways. And all with a writing style that’s strikingly accessible and enjoyable. Read this book. Then give it to a friend!” —Chris Stefanick, evangelist, TV host, and author of Real Life Catholic

“By now most of us have heard that young people—despite being constantly connected online—are lonelier than ever and consistently report having few real friends. In Friendship Reset, Maggie Craig addresses this crisis head-on and offers a timeless and true remedy to isolation and loneliness: friendship. With wisdom, humor, and memorable personal stories, Craig shows her readers what a friend is, what a friend is not, how to be a good friend, how to make friends, and even how to end a friendship. This little book will serve as a helpful resource for anyone working with young people in the Church today.” —Fr. Damian Ference, vicar for evangelization and secretary for parish life in the Diocese of Cleveland and professor of philosophy at Borromeo Seminary
