PrimaryGenre: Informational- This book gave information about germs and how to sneeze into a tissue or cough into your sleeve. This would be great to read to little children to let them know how they should reduce the amount of germs that float around in the air. This was a great way for young students to learn about germs. I liked the information in this book a ton.

This is a wonderful informational book about germs. There are messages for both kids and adults and a nice visual for the kids to find the germs throughout their lives. Germs are not for sharing is illustrated by Marieka Heinlen.

This book is a good choice for teaching youngsters the basics about hygiene, however, never touches on what germs are or what they do.

Cute book on germs. Kids may enjoy the colors and illustrations. It is good to have kids aware of germs, but at the same time not over-do it so they are afraid of germs everywhere.

This board book walks kids through the situations which call for hand washing, and how to avoid passing germs to friends. The tone is pedantic, but may frighten children, since the exact nature of "germs" is never explained. Marieka Heinlein's illustrations are cute and approachable, but the book would not make for fun reading time with a toddler.

I would definitely use this book in my classroom to enforce hygiene and healthy behavior to prevent sickness. This book explains how germs can be shared and how to prevent spreading germs. It shows how to properly wash hands or sneeze. I think it would be great in a k-2 classroom (or even older). I would have students act out ways to prevent sharing germs and teach them how to wash their hands properly.
