5 starts plus!! I have read many books by Stacey Cliflin and they are all very good. Well written, intersting stories. While they are all good, I have to say that the suspense thriller series are the best for me. They grab you and keep you reading to the end. As soon as you finish you want to jump to the next book in the series or the same gendre by this author. Great work. Please keep writing.

I first read the gone trilogy which youll probably need to do before reading this. It makes total sense if youve read the trilogy. Alex is macy mercers brother. Macy had gotten kidnapped in the gone series and the same thing has happened to her brother alexs little girl ariana. Its similar to the gone series. In a way i like that. It just seems odd that both kidnappers wanted to replace a little girl in their lives by kidnapping another child that looks like the girl they lost. Overall i love this book. I read it in less than 2 hours because im a fast reader and i couldnt put it down. It goes from different peoples point of view. From macy to alex to alexs ex girlfriend (who is also arianas mom) and to others in the book. I really hope she writes more books about alex, zoey, and ariana.

I'm glad this book was free. I really wanted to give it enough time to get interesting but couldn't get past the touchy feely relationship crap in the first 25 pages....too much to rate as an alleged thriller

I really liked the book but it left me confused at some points. I also feel like it had some parts to it that they started but didn’t finish the idea. But overall it was a good book!

A little slow in the beginning, but then became a book I couldn’t put down. The story was excellent and well written. The characters were well developed and believable. I will certainly buy more books from this author

I struggled with rating this 3 or 4 and decided on a 4 because the plot was good as were some of the characters. I felt Alex was too whinny and felt sorry for himself too much. The dialog was repetitive and slow at times. I will give the author another try.
