In GLIDER, Virgil and Greg are about to begin middle school. They thought they knew who they were, but when a stranger arrives they feel a change. The drifter came from Maine and left something behind. His leader had been searching for these kids. In this sleepy Pennsylvania neighborhood, the boys begin to learn about their magical skills. Did their mothers know about their potential all along? What were their parents hiding? Soon, the boys will find out who they are and what they can be.
