A must-read for any woman who has, or is thinking of having, kids and anyone else who wants to support her! Do yourself and those around you a huge favor and READ THIS BOOK. Randi is a unique visionary who has brought to the surface issues many moms have on their mind but can't seem to sort or flush out. Randi and her book provide the missing link: a platform, community, and concrete steps and tools to achieve what we desire and move past the obstacles in our way (whether imposed or self-created)! "Self care" is a trendy term and is all well and good but Going Beyond Mom is so much more than that. It provides women the permission, motivation, and actions they need to enrich themselves, becoming better moms, wives, friends, and humans in the process. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to have a dialogue with Randi and the village she has built in person and am so excited that now everyone can benefit from her inspiration as well!
