Dr. Chisley guides the earnest Bible student with a range of special tools needed to interpret the inspired writings of the Old and New Testaments. Illustrating with his lectures and providing examples of both Greek and Hebrew terms, he leads the student through an appreciation of the translation, transliteration, and interpretation process. At the same time, Dr. Chisley's lecture notes point out the practical applications for daily life with which the writings endow us. In the end, his manual becomes a treasure, a must-have volume not only for scholars and students, but also for all in search of realistic answers to daily responsibilities.
