Going on a Night Hike

Lucy does not like the dark--she prefers things bright and cozy.

But she's heading off on a school camping trip, and the nights in the country are full of shadows just waiting to pounce. When her teacher announces a night hike, Lucy gets out all her flashlights and lanterns...but she has to leave those behind and use a special red-light flashlight that hardly keeps the shadows away.
