If you purchase the nook versionn (i have the nook color) BEWARE! Pages 41 to 44 are missing words/sentences its cutoff it looks like it going on about on thing then the next line cuts off to something else. Then you become lost. This is only how far ive gotten-- their maybe more mistakes like this i dont reccomend buying the nook version id just get a hard copy to be safe & that way you can sell it or pass it down after use, just a suggestion.

I liked that this book has a separate sections for baby gear, baby illnesses, baby development and many many resource websites, organizations and has a wonderful parent's dictionary. It was not one of my favorite books however very informative.

There are a lot of book like this on the market so I just picked one and hoped. I have found this book to be very helpful. My baby is only five weeks so I am still just getting into it but it does answer a lot of questions about you and your baby over the next year. The information is easy to understand and well organized so you can look up a specific topic easily and I liked this a lot.

I compared many baby's first year books and this one seemed to be one of the most comprehensive and informative. It also followed closely to my way of thinking. Very unbiased and holistic. Great for new parents looking for a guide for the first year. Great predictions about the baby's development and also the parents' development alongside. Credible, sensible and practical information. Good buy.
