HAUNTED was one of the pantheon of Charlton horror titles that appeared in 1971, after the Comic Book Code Authority slightly loosened their grip on the terror genre. Readers were now treated to all the trepidation and fear, but none of the gore that was rampant in the horror comics of the fifties.
