Loved the series and the story of Rainulf and Constance - the series is over 2800 Nook pages. I think I liked book 2 just alittle better. The ending of who knifes people was a total shock to me. The second book didn't have as much negative talking about the Catholic Church as book one. I tried to keep an opened mind and realized it was the time period, but it was hard at times to keep that in mind. I tried to review not of my personal feelings but the story. I would recommend both books of the series.

You can't help but fall in love with Rainulf & Constance. While reading their story you can actually feel the sexual tension between them. I enjoyed it very much, very very romantic.

I love a good romance, but I don't enjoy mindless fluff. This book was well-researched and offered a well-developed plot, along with an interesting mix of personalities. Very enjoyable read!

I don't like when the church is shown in a bad way as in this story , that being said, the story kept me guessing and intrigue was great. The male was alpha and also smart, the female was headstrong and naive. Romance came in the last third of the book and was intense.

This book was better than the first and definitely a page Turner! I couldn't put it down!. The story is full of suspense and drama as well as sexual tension. I felt like I was in the book. Recommended! Now onto book#3!

I loved the twists and turns of this story. The characters are fabulous. My only negative thought is, I wished there was some type of break before switching scenes. I got a little confused at times. But overall. Fabulous!

Love it!

The only complaint I have about this book is that it took me awhile to warm up to any romance between Constance and Rainulf. I think this is because I had a different view of Rainulf from the previous book. I had imagimed him as a gentle priestly type and not in the romantic sense. However , once I warmed to them I really loved it. I also loved being able to read on about Martine and Thorne. That alone made this book a must read.

You will enjoy this book! The second in the series, and just as captivating as the first book! Patricia Ryan is wonderfully talented author. If you haven't read her Nell Sweeney series, which is published under the name P.B. Ryan, you really should! Every book will grab your attention and keep it right through the last page! I have read them twice!

I bought Falcon's Fire as part of a boxed set and when I realized that there was a story about Martine's brother, I bought it right away! I think this writer keeps you on the edge of your seat until the book is finished. I loved the tension between the main characters here, and I was really rooting for them! I'd never read any medieval romance novels before, and I loved them! I will definitely be reading more from this author - hopefully, the next in the series! LOVED!!
