When our world becomes a mere pawn in an epic battle between Heaven and Hell, Jason Dark faces a challenge that threatens to shatter the very fabric of reality. As immortal angels die, and harbingers of death and destruction escape the fiery pits of hell itself, the Geisterjäger and his companions receive a desperate call for help!
Will they be able to save mankind in the face of an onslaught of demons, or will our fate burn as brightly as the streets of London?
This is the fourth volume in a series of supernatural mysteries where Jason Dark, a fearless and resourceful ghost hunter in Victorian Britain, faces off against creatures from other dimensions and the forces of evil that feed on our fears.
This series is filled with enough mystery, drama and suspenseful action to transport you to the sinister, fog-shrouded streets of gaslit London. Your encounter with the extraordinary awaits!

With Victorian England as the backdrop, Henkel delivers another power-packed tale of good versus evil. This time Jason Dark and his sidekick, Siu Lu, take on the demons in a battle between Heaven and Hell. The developing relationship between the two main characters adds depth to a heavily plot-driven story. Like the previous volumes in the series, Heavens on Fire is a fast ride. Henkel's prose is descriptive yet succinct. No wasted words here. It's a style that I think would lend itself particularly well to radio or podcasting. Though it helps to have read the previous volumes, each works well as a standalone. Heavens on Fire is no exception.
