HILLARIOUS! HEART-STOPPING FANTASY FUN! HELL FOR THE COMPANY by Dick Denny (published by Foundations Books) is one of the most entertaining novels I've read in a long time; a hilarious romp of detective and military-like battles with detailed weaponry and outstanding, realistic characters. Denny's descriptive writing skills paints pictures of his characters in your mind (Gary Oldman, for instance). All of these elements are entwined within a fantasy genre that will have you on the edge of your seat wanting more. As a new author on the publishing scene, Dick Denny's story-telling skills are amazing. His one-liner come-backs had me laughing out loud. Without giving anything away, the premise of book is a fight for the Sword of Wrath between a gumshoe, his best friend, Jammer, and a stripper who works for Heaven (when I grow up, I want to be just like her). LMAO! This is a definite "To Be Read" book. As a bonus, there are 2 more books to this series. I can't wait to nab them. Five+ stars for this most humorous and engaging novel!
Started looking for the next book in the series before I was a quarter of the way through. Love the characters.
