Lady Hel has never had luck or use for love. She's the ruler of Hel! She doesn't need anyone... until a curse forces her to look for her one true love. For crossing Odin, she's stripped of her position and sent to an ostentatious estate until she is able to find love. Harley Andersen is a seven-year college senior with no idea what to do with his life. So far all he's come up with is killing time. When his best friend dares him to hop the gate of what's supposed be a haunted house, he encounters a woman who steals a lot more than his breath. And what she's offering could give him the future he's missing. It'll just require a trip to the past. This is a standalone book in the HELL CHRONICLES. Welcome to Hel. Lady Hel to be precise. She’s never had any need for love. She rules Hel…that is until a curse forces her to leave her realm and find her one true love. Lady Hel is not unhappy about her situation, but she has only herself to blame. The gods intervened where she chose to interfere and now she must pay the price. However long it takes for the task to be accomplished. Hellish (The Hell Chronicles) is book one in this new series by Tina Glasneck. In this book, we are introduced to Lady Hel. She has committed an act that the other Norse gods have deemed egregious. So they sentence her to the task of finding her, one true love. This won’t be an easy thing, but she figures out a means of accomplishing the task. This is an interesting story about Lady Hel. She hides behind the guise of complete beauty. She tells herself that she just simply wants the curse broken, but is there really more? Does she crave more out of her existence than this? Harley, a college student, is about to graduate in a couple weeks when he meets her one night. You quickly can tell that there is something there between them, but there is more to it than meets the eye. This story ebbs and flows, but once Harley’s own backstory comes to life the story really kicks into gear and comes to life for me. There are a few moments of where the story feels disjointed, but thankfully it all comes together. From what I can tell there are few to no editorial issues in this story. I am rating this story 4 out of 5 stars. It’s a good story, but I feel that it could flow better in places. There are spots that I feel could have been fleshed out more, and the reader is given more. This is an interesting story, and for those who are hoping for it, …this book does have an HEA. The location isn’t what I expected but the ending is there. For those who enjoy stories with the Norse gods, magic, romance and some time travel this is the book for you. Enjoy.

A great story and part of the Dragons Series. I wish the rest was available on here too.
