Yosaif August, co-author with Dr. Bernie Siegel of Help Me To Heal, is a life coach, who works with people who have medical issues, caregivers, executives returning to work and people seeking greater fulfillment in their lives. He provides a free monthly webinar, Visualizing the Best: A Positive Approach to Preparing for Surgery. Visit: www.coachingforyourhealth.com. Yosaif August is an award-winning healthcare innovator and life coach who coaches people who have medical issues in their lives or in the lives of their loved ones. Sixteen years ago, because of his own experiences as a hospitalized patient and caregiver for his parents, he left his corporate consulting firm to develop ways of improving the experiences of other people dealing with the medical system. Along the way he invented Bedscapes®, a healing environmental system for hospital rooms, and co-authored Help Me To Heal with Dr. Bernie Siegel. He was trained in the co-active life coaching approach at the Coaches Training Institute. In his medical life coaching he combines his insights from his own medical experiences and the skills and concepts of the coactive approach with his own creative holistic approach to experiential learning. With this combination he helps his clients address the needs of their mind, body, heart and spirit. He lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife, a rabbi and hospice chaplain and two cats.
