Overview

The Man With The Plan and his friends return in this fifth romp in the Swindle series -- now in paperback!

HIDEOUT: a place to escape detection, especially when being chased by someone determined to have revenge . . .

When Griffin Bing and his friends first met Luthor, he was a vicious attack dog working for the slimy S. Wendell Palomino -- also known as Swindle. The kids rescued Luthor and never thought they'd see Swindle again.

But now Swindle's returned. And he wants his dog back.

Swindle has manipulated the law so that there's no way for Savannah Drysdale to keep Luthor in her house. Before he can be taken away, they decide to make him disappear -- away from Swindle.

Six kids. Three hideouts. One extremely large dog.

What could possibly go wrong?

Maya g-d Book review Dec 10th 2013 Hideout Hideout is about kids and a Doberman (Dog). The dog belongs to one of the kids named savanna who adopted the Doberman, after a man named S. wendle palomino went to jail for ripping off kids of a one million dollar baseball card. He used to own the dog. One day unexpectedly, Mr. Palomino claimed the dog as his own because he was worth a lot of money. He hid the Doberman adoption notes, so the kids could not prove to the court that the dog belonged to them. On the day they were supposed to give the dog back to Palomino, the kids ended up smuggling the Doberman away to their summer camp. Mr. Palomino tries to hunt down the dog because he suspects the kids took him away to camp. Palomino finally captures the dog by tranquilizing him with a dart. But In the end palomino gets what he deserves. I like this book because it’s full of action and it is really fun to read. I recommend it to people how like adventure, Crime, Animals and exciting stories.

I thought that this book was going to be fun and exiting. I also thought that this book was going to be fast paced and cool. I didn't really like this book at the beginning it was really slow and boring. Near the end it got a little bit more exciting. Overall i did not like the book that much. This book is mainly about the kids moving luther camp to camp and hiding him places. Then one person would find him then they would move him somewhere else. The reason why i disliked this book is it was slow at the begging and did not really get any more exciting. I think that 4th to 5th graders would like this book. Consider that it is slow and boring at the beginning and does not get very more exciting.

The ending was less than to be expected, And though swindle returns he isn't put back in jail despite what happened. The story follows a sequal arc rather than an actual story-arc.
