Holly is back in Wirralong after a devastating loss. She’s a doctor, but can’t imagine practicing medicine while being responsible for her sister’s twin sons. She’s running the local coffee shop instead. Ben was Holly’s teenage crush, but she never gave him a chance to become more than just a friend. He’s back in town to work as the local doctor. Holly can’t imagine he’d like to spend time with her after she rejected him many years ago, but the opposite is true. He's nothing but kind and supportive. Will Ben be able to break down her walls this time? Ben is surprised Holly is back in Wirralong. There's never been another woman for him and he’s glad he has the chance to get to know her as an adult. Holly’s situation is complicated, she’s taking care of her nephews and is trying to get over the death of her beloved sister. She isn’t looking for love and if Ben wants to form a connection with her, he has to tread carefully. Will he have enough patience not to chase Holly away and can he convince her that they are made for each other? Holly’s Heart is a moving romantic story. Holly’s been through a lot and needs all the support she can get. She’s a strong and capable woman, but she’s also traumatized and needs help facing the demons of her past. Ben’s lightheartedness and gentle and caring nature have a healing effect on her and I loved how deeply he cares about her. Fiona McArthur shows her readers exactly what her main characters are feeling and I liked that a lot. It made me feel close to Ben and Holly and I was incredibly curious about what would happen to them. Ben and Holly are made for each other and I really enjoyed watching their relationship flourish. Fiona McArthur writes about the tragic parts of life in an amazing empathic way. She combines this with hope, plenty of unconditional love and beautiful friendship, which is a terrific mix. I loved Holly’s Heart. It’s a story filled with warmth and compassion. I loved that there’s happiness after devastation and I liked that the power of love conquers all. I enjoyed this fantastic compelling love story from beginning to end.

This was a wonderful second chance story in the Outback Brides series. This story is full of emotion, fears, and love. Holly and Ben were together before and neither Ben have really gotten over the other. When they both return to Wirralong it seems, to Ben at least, that it is meant to be. Holly however is afraid if she gets too involved with Ben she won't be giving the attention to her nephews that they need. Ben is determined to show her not only could they be good together but they could also make a great family for the boys. This is a very well done book and one I definitely recommend.

Holly’s Heart is the fourth book in new multi-author Outback Brides series. In this book we have story of Holly Peterson. Holly Peterson has moved back to Wirralong and has given up her career as a doctor, after the loss of her sister. Holly is now Mum/Aunt to her six-year-old twin nephews. She has re-opened her sister’s coffee shop. She wants the boys to go back to a school and be with their friends, to help them through the loss. Ben Brierly has come home to Wirralong help his grandmother with the family farm Brierly Park. It is starting to be run down and he want to get it back to what it was. He hires a new farm manager and housekeeper to help. Ben is also opening Wirralong Family Doctors Surgery. He was finally going to be a general practitioner in his home town. Holly has known Ben from growing up in Wirralong and going to school together, she has never forgot him. But she was warned off him by his grandmother back then. She left and studied Medicine and worked in Sydney as an ER Doctor. But she has now lost all faith in medicine. Ben is surprised to see Holly back in town as the last he heard she was working in Sydney. Ben is determined to find out what happened and also to try to win her heart, she is the one that he has always wanted. This story is so full of emotions and you will feel them on every page. You will not be able to put this book down. It is one that is going to be pulling at your heartstrings, even once you have closed the book. The chemistry between Holly and Ben is so well written. Fiona has achieved a great story with such wonderful characters. This book and the others in this series could be read as standalone. I would highly recommend this book.

This is the fourth and the most beautiful book in the Outback Brides series. When i mean beautiful it starts from the cover of the book and moves inside. The storyline is so moving. I had wondered about the old town busy body. She was the ex-mayor's wife and in this book we get the answers. Ha ha its Ben's grandma. And no i am not going to tell you, you have to read the book to find out why she is the way she is but Dr Ben Brierly has moved back to town to be the local GP and also be close to his grandma and help out on the Brierly Park (their farm). Across the street is Holly Peterson and her twin nephews. Holly grew up in Wirralong and recently came back after the death of her sister to raise her sister's boys there and run her coffee shop. Holly is a doctor as well as Ben but is not practicing medicine. Those reasons you will have to read the book to find our why and see if things change on that front as well. Holly is a new friend of Elsa, Maggie and Izzy the other 3 brides in the Outback Brides series. This book has so many wonderful and touching moments in it and yes it does answer some of the questions I think many of us readers have wondered about Miranda Brierly. I hope that we will see many more Outback Brides in the future and that this series doesn't stop at four.

Holly's Heart by Fiona McArthur a new to me author. Book four in the Outback Brides series. This was a great addition to the series. It grabbed me from the first page and didn't let go until the last page. With likable characters, great dialogue and a storyline that has two small twin boys that pulled me in.

Another wonderful book from the series, Outback Brides. Holly moves back to her small town with her two orphaned nephews. Their Mom has been dead only a short time . She opens her sister's coffee shop next to Elsa's beauty shop. One of the first people she sees is Dr Ben Brierly., who she went to school with. Holly is a doctor by profession but is not working as one at this time. He doesn't know why. He has always loved her but she hid her love from him. Now she has her nephews to take care of and doesn't need any distractions. Will she be able to accept his love and will she ever practice as a doctor again ? I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review. The opinions are my own.

I loved Holly’s Heart by Fiona McArthur, book four in the Outback Brides series, a wonderful second chance story. Holly and Ben were sweethearts in high school until Holly was told she would never land Ben and she started avoiding him. Holly and Ben both became doctors and when Ben returns to Wirralong to open a practice, he is surprised to find Holly running the local coffee shop. After the death of her sister and gaining guardianship of her twin nephews Holly is overwhelmed. After a pregnant patient dies in her emergency room, Holly decides to take a leave of absence from medicine and return to Wirralong to raise the boys. Ms. McArthur wrote a wonderful story of a love that never ended. Holly is stronger than she gives herself credit. I appreciated that her priority was the well being of her nephews. Ben never gave up, finding ways to help Holly with the boys and make life a little easier for her. The attraction and chemistry between these two did not end when they left for different universities. This was a wonderful story where love overrules life. Ms. McArthur did a fantastic job creating realistic characters, keeping the story line interesting, making me forget the world around me and not letting me go until I turned the last page, wanting more. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
