Hook: Dead to Rights by Melissa Snark is a great story that I have read. This story is not what I expected to read but I am glad there is a change in this usual story. I highly recommend this story to all. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Really enjoyed this twist on classic Peter Pan it is very emotional and dark. It is also a heart pounding, action packed and exciting adventure filled with danger, magic, mystery that kept me glued to my tablet from beginning to end. Highly entertaining journey.

Peter Pan and Captain Hook have always been enemies...but this is a different story. One that you haven't heard before, and you really should. I really enjoyed hearing the story from Hook's point of view and just couldn't put this one down.

I loved how different this version of Peter Pan was. With Captain Hook not only being a female, but also a sort of good guy. I intensely felt the struggles that Captain Hook went through during this short book. I didn't really like the end though. The lack of a satisfying resolution makes me hope that this is simply a first in series, but it didn't have an obvious cliffhanger and I didn't see anything that indicated the author's intent to continue the story in another book. Oh my goodness what a treat this book was. I can honestly say I have never read anything like it. Hook is a female did you know? Well read this story, and you will find out so many entertaining things. Vengeance is what Hook wants against none other than Pan himself. With the help of some sprites, and many more things she may finally get her revenge or will she? Indeed an amazingly good story.
