Most Helpful Customer Reviews
This is a very helpful book. Especially the pre-purchase checklist at the back of the book! I am the author of this book, and it was written in 1986. But with the downturn of the economy recently, I decided to write a second edition. In the days the original book was written, I had no computer and relied on "professionals" to guide me. The book that was originally published, looked good to these "professionals", so I had about 5,000 copies printed. They sold pretty well, especially to libraries. Now that I have a quality computer system, I have written a second edition that far surpasses the original version. A lot of new content has been added, to keep up with the modern day automobiles. The formatting is much better because a font has been used to make reading the book easier. The paragraphs that were too long have been shortened to make this second edition an easier read, over all. The second edition is being published as an e-book on the Kindle platform, as well as the "Pubit!" platform. Who knows, maybe there will be other platforms as well, later. The "extraordinary" checklist still exists in the second version! If you liked the original version, you'll LOVE the second edition! Brad Crouch
