About the Author

Sanja Rescek lives in Zagreb, Croatia, where she studied graphic design and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. She has illustrated more than 100 children's books, including the successful Itsy Bitsy series (Simon & Schuster) and Dinosaur, Dinosaur, Say Goodnight (Tiger Tales). She also enjoys creating greeting cards, patterns and gift bags. Her artwork has been featured on UNICEF greeting cards, and she has illustrated stationery for American Greetings, Papyrus, and more. Sanja finds inspiration for her artwork from all around the world, especially outside in nature where she loves spending time with her family.
