This first chapbook explores the relation of experience, self-reliance, and reconciliation of the past. With loss comes a resounding conclusion – the chance to make amends is gone. Many of these poems are distinctly mine, but others in this collection belong to my brothers and sister; my father and mother; and to others who hide the truth.
