Four-time National Emmy Award-winning meteorologist Scott Withers covered hurricanes for a decade. On Sept. 28, 2022, he reported live on Fort Myers Beach as Ian came ashore.The surge trapped him in a submerged car with no way out. Three strangers on a boat saved him.
