Project Report from the year 2015 in the subject Engineering - Power Engineering, , language: English, abstract: The project was to convert the control of three boiler feed water pumps to Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF) drives having a capacity of 750 m3/H @ 220 Kg/Cm2 pressure and power rating of 6200 KW each. The main focus of this report is the design and development of the protection system, sequence of operation, bypass system, speed control system, drum level control and graphic interface. It also includes PID controller tuning for VVVF drive smooth control.

I am registered professional Engineer in Engineering Council UK as Chartered Engineer (CEng) and first ISA (International Society of Automation) Certified Automation Professional (CAP) in power sector of Pakistan. I have master degree in Electronics with more than fourteen (15) years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering including five years in a petrochemical complex at Fauji Fertilizer Company (ISO 9002, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001) and more than 9 years on HFO fired boiler (1200 T/H x 2) and steam turbine (365MW x2) at AES Lalpir thermal power plant.
