Elena Chevalier and her husband Wayne have served the Lord side-by-side for more than 30 years. They are blessed with four children, two in-laws and one grandbaby who all love the Lord. They minister in the White Mountains of New Hampshire where Wayne is the pastor of Benton Bible Chapel. Elena has written Bible studies and inspirational writings for more than three decades. She is a former editor for the Journal Opinion; she resigned that position after her daughter's cancer diagnosis, but continues to write for the newspaper.

Those facing the fears, frustration, and anger that sometimes assault even Believers as they battle cancer and other trials will find that In Chemo ~ Candid Conversations with God provides a safe haven to vent their feelings and find the soothing, loving embrace of our Ever-Faithful God.
Comments from readers:

"Thank you for hearing the voice of God and writing this book. You put voice to my feelings throughout your book. I pray it will bless others with cancer as it has me."
Bernadette, New Jersey

"This is NOT a band-aid over cancer book. Every time I turned a page there was something there that matched my own pain, fear, and anger. It was so real, so true, so raw. I promise this book will touch you, make you weep and slowly begin to heal that hurt, unfathomable place where only you and God can go."
Lisa, Virginia

If you are a christian and in chemo, or know someone in chemo this is an excellent devotional. The devotions seem heart touching and not contrived. It is not a 'preachy' book written from the head, but a heart felt devotion to those who call out to God looking for answers, looking for strength, or looking for grace by someone who has called out looking for those same things.
