Each chapter of 'The Inner Seven' presents the life story amd aerial exloits of the only seven American military aviators who became 'Aces' by shooting down five or more enemy aircraft during WW II, and going on to be qualified in jet aircraft to again become 'Aces' during combat actions in Korea. This is a valuable history text which includes maps and photos, and would serve well as a, 'Must Read' for aspiring combat aviators An excellent review was written by BG (Ret) Robert Scott, 'Ace', author of 'God Is My Co-Pilot'. A hard hitting Foreward is provided by 'Ace' BG (Ret) Robin Olds, and sets the stage for exciting reading and a great history lesson. Both of these named persons hold special places in the annals of combat aviation fame.
