This story begins with the Mahalaya dawn of a six-year-old boy. That same boy later encounters the many forms of Shakti across diverse landscapes: in the desolate expanse of Tanot Mata in Rajasthan, in the forests of folk goddesses in Jharkhand, in the puja pandals of Bokaro, in the living consciousness of Kashi and Kolkata, and in the metaphysical depths of Kashmir.
