About the Author

Michael Thomas was born in Salem, Massacusetts, in 1960. A key turning-point in his life was a born-again religious experience as a college freshman. This led to a series of misadventures and misfortunes that resulted in great emotional turmoil and financial loss. As he learned more about the Bible more and more questions arose, which could not be answered by anyone. Finally he rejected the biblical belief-system altogether in 1992. Since then he has explored many alternative paradigms and has embraced a more universal form of spirituality. He has an interest in many unconventional theories and human interest themes. He currently resides in Portland, Maine.
