Just Run is a great book because it is about relationships and also makes you think about high school. Daisy is on the track team for her high school. Although she is dealing with the fact that her mom might be getting a divorce, then her dad is playing online poker and her mom wants him to get a job. Daisy is the main character of “Just Run”. The Central idea is friends and families getting along. This book is about running but it is also about how she has to do everything for her friends and family, for example every day when she gets home from track practice she cooks for her and the family. Then when she sees her friends twin with her sisters boyfriend she tries to help her friend catch them . The best part is when Daisy sees her friend and a member of the boys track team together. Then she and her crush start talking and they become”Good” friends.I recommend this book to all teenagers who like sports and romance. This book gets a 4.5 stars from me. I wIll leave you with this thought, “You can run but you can’t fix everything”.
