About the Author

Julie Bond earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Psychology and a Master's Degree in Animal Behavior from the University of California at Davis. In 1991, she founded her own behavior consulting service. She has been actively involved in pet assisted therapy work for over 20 years and works closely with several rescue organizations, enjoys speaking engagements for breed clubs and community groups, and mentoring students interested in pursuing careers in animal behavior. She shares her home with two Collies.
